Q: I get an error while attempting to export contacts from my InsideView integration from within the CRM to my CRM.
“There was some problem while performing this operation - ; nested exception is: java.net.UnknownHostException:...”
A: Please contact support@insideview.com
Q: I’m a Sugar On Premise user. I get an error while attempting to export/sync information from InsideView to my CRM:
“There was some problem while performing this operation. You do not have access.”
A: Please check if your user role in your CRM has the "export" field set to none for all object types. The field needs to have permissions on it so that we can find Account, Lead and Contact matches while doing an export.
Also, please ensure that your CRM can be accessed outside of your internal official networks i.e you have an Internet Facing Deployment of your CRM. This is required for InsideView to be able to Sync/Export data to your CRM. If you cannot access your CRM outside of your office network, please check with your CRM Admin to make the required changes.
Q: Does a Sugar User have to have the "Export" permissions enabled in order to use the InsideView Sync function?
A: The API operation we perform during Sync requires the user to have the ‘Export’ permission enabled. The ‘Delete’ permission is not required.
The user must have the "Export" permission enabled even if he/she has "Edit" permissions for that specific object.
