Installing InsideView Sales in Netsuite CRM

Adding InsideView to your Account and Lead page-views is quick and easy. Follow the detailed instructions below to customize your Netsuite CRM instance in just minutes.

Note: If your organization restricts network access by third party applications, please ask your IT administrator to add the following IP address ranges to allow updates from InsideView:

  • 52.4.63.192 to 52.4.63.223
  • 64.56.203.0 to 64.56.203.255

Installing InsideView

Prerequisites

  • You must log in to your NetSuite account as an Administrators to install ‘InsideView – CRM Intelligence’ bundle.
  • To use the Sync and Export features offered by InsideView, the SuiteSignOn option needs to be enabled. To enable the SuiteSignOn option, go to Setup > Company > Enable Features > SuiteCloud > Single Sign On.

Installation Steps

  1. Log in to the NetSuite account where you want to install the ‘InsideView – CRM Intelligence’ bundle.

Note: Bundles can be installed in production accounts and sandbox accounts.

  1. Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.
  2. In the Keywords box on the Search & Install Bundles page, type “InsideView” and click the Search button.
  3. From the search results, click ‘InsideView – CRM Intelligence’ to open the Bundle Details page.

  1. On the Bundle Details page, click the Install button.
  2. On the confirmation pop-up, click OK to open the Preview Bundle Install page.
  3. On the Preview Bundle Install page, click the Install Bundle button.

It may take a few minutes for the installation process to complete. Refresh the browser until you see a check mark in the Status column as shown in the screenshot below.

Testing Installation

Once you install the InsideView bundle, follow the steps below to test the installation:

  1. Log in to the NetSuite account in which you have installed the ‘InsideView – CRM Intelligence’ bundle.
  2. Go to Lists > Relationships > Customer > Create>Customers.
  3. Click View next to a customer’s name to open the customer’s record.
  4. On the customer record, you will now be able to see the InsideView sub-tab. Click the InsideView sub-tab.
  5. When you click the InsideView sub-tab for the first time, you will see a message with a link to the terms of use.
  6. Click Continue to accept the terms of use and access InsideView for NetSuite.

Updating InsideView

InsideView – CRM Intelligence is a managed bundle and supports automated updates. InsideView is responsible for the bundle update process and you do not have to take any action to ensure that the InsideView bundle installed in your production account is always the most up-to-date version.

Uninstalling InsideView

You can uninstall the ‘InsideView – CRM Intelligence’ bundle at any time after installing it. Uninstalling the bundle ends all upgrades to the bundle.

To uninstall ‘InsideView – CRM Intelligence’ bundle:

  1. Log in to the NetSuite account in which you have installed the ‘InsideView – CRM Intelligence’ bundle.
  2. Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Install Bundle > List.
  3. Click the Action  drop-down next to ‘InsideView – CRM Intelligence’, and from the list of options that appear click Uninstall.
  4. On the confirmation pop-up, click OK to uninstall the bundle.
