Build a list of people who work at a set of companies.

1 | Go to the List Building Page |
Go to InsideView CRM View and then click Build a List. or In the InsideView Web View interface, click the Build a List tab. |
2 | Go to People List tab | On the Build a List page, click People List to build a list of people. |
3 | Search for people with your search criteria | Use the People section to search for executives that meet the following criteria:

4 | Search for people with Location search criteria |
Use the Locations list to search for people that meet the following geographical criteria:

5 | Enter the range | Under the Size section, enter a range for the employee count and the revenue of the companies you want to target. For example, if you enter 50 to 100 in # Employees and 5M to 10M in Revenue, the search returns people working only in those companies with 50-100 employees and with revenues that ranges from 5 million to 10 million US dollars. |
6 | Select Industries to target | Under the Industry section, select an industry and then any sub-industries you want to target. You can also enter the SIC or NAICS code of an industry here. Note: The InsideView database will allow you to search using either 2007 or 2012 NAICS codes. Remember to uncheck the Only search primary NAICS option on the Build a List page in order to use NAICS codes. |
7 | Select the Business Type | Under the Business Type section, select the type (public, private etc.), status (acquired, subsidiary etc.), ranking (listing on Fortune 500 or Fortune 1000) and financial year end of the companies you want to target.

8 | Specify the Smart Agents | Under the News section, click Smart Agent and select an agent such as Expanding Operations, or click Keywords and enter the keywords that represent the best sales triggers for your offerings. |
9 | Give the filtering criteria |
Under the Connections section, filter only the people you connect to based on the connection types that matter to you. For example, you can select People you know with affiliations through your Alumni to find direct connections with target prospects. If you select People your coworkers know to find connections through their affiliations, your list will include people your co-workers are connected to. |
10 | Search |
Click Search. |
11 | View details and modify | On the search results page, point to a person’s name to view a summary of their details. If you want to make changes to your search criteria, click Modify Criteria. |
12 | Save the search criteria | If you want to save your search criteria, click Save search and then enter a name for the criteria to save it for future reference. |
Note: This feature works only for Company Reference (alternatively known as Enterprise Reference) customers.
Select the Include Customer Results check box if you would want to include all reference customers you added in the results. When you do this and build a list, all companies you added as reference customers will be included in the search results.
Uncheck this box if you do not want to include reference customers in your list build search results. When you do this, the search result will omit these companies from the search results.
