Problem
Error CRM13 throws the following error:
“There was an error connecting to InsideView. Please refresh the page and try the operation again.”
The possible cause of this could be a browser issue.
Solution
Step | Description | Details |

1 | Go to Tools Menu | Click Tools menu from your browser. |
2 | Go to Options | Select Internet Options. |
3 | Open Security Tab | Click the Security Tab. |
4 | Uncheck Protected Mode Options | For each of the zones: Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted Sites, and Restricted Sites uncheck the "Protected Mode On" option. This is to ensure that the Protected Mode is OFF. |
5 | Close the browser sessions | Close your browser. Close all open browser sessions as well. |
6 | Open a new browser session | Open a new browser session and try your operations again. |
7 | Move to next step | If the problem persists continue to the next step. |
8 | Go to Tools Option | Click the Tools option from the browser Menu. |
9 | Go to Options | Click Internet Options. |
10 | Open Privacy Tab | Click the Privacy Tab. |
11 | Open Advanced Options | Click Advanced. |
12 | Uncheck the indicated option | Check the box “Override automatic cookie handling”. |
13 | Make changes | Accept First and Third Party cookies. |
14 | Check the specified option | Check the box “Always allow session cookies”. |
15 | Log out | Log out of the CRM. |
16 | Close the brower tabs | Close all Open tabs in the browser. |
17 | Open a new browser session | Close the browser and open a new browser session. |
Log back into your CRM and make sure that you can now see the InsideView window.
