InsideView Target allows you to sync a People list into Salesforce CRM.
In order for you to sync your leads, an InsideView account administrator must first login with your Salesforce account credentials in the InsideView Target authentication window. For more information, read the article Setting Up InsideView Target for Salesforce CRM on our Knowledge Base.
|1||Launch to InsideView Target||
Launch InsideView Target by clicking the Build a List tab on the InsideView Sales instance.
|2||Go to settings||
On the InsideView Target page, click the Settings icon at the top right-hand corner as illustrated below:
When you click Sync to Salesforce for the first time the following message appears:
Click Configure to launch Authentication window.
Note: If you are using Salesforce Sandbox environment, then you will see an additional Sync to Salesforce Sandbox button once the CSM enables your InsideView Target for sandbox account. Click this button when you want to sync data to your Sandbox instance.
|3||Map InsideviewId Field||
On the Settings page, click the Field Mapping tab.
Note:If Company Name, Last Name, Email and InsideviewId fields are not mapped you must create these custom field with the string datatype in your Salesforce application and map them in InsideView Target. Otherwise, you cannot perform a Sync to Salesforce.
|4||Sync People list into Salesforce||
Once the Salesforce account credential and field mapping is complete, click Sync to Salesforce.
Note: If a record is exported from InsideView Target (irrespective of Salesforce sync or File Export), InsideView will not deduct credits for a period of 1 year from the date it was first exported or synced to Salesforce CRM.
|5||Receive an email notification||
Once the People list is synced into Salesforce CRM, you will receive an email notification confirmation with number of people that were moved to your Salesforce CRM.
