Add a Company or Contact to CRM

The Discovery Center allows you to add a company or contact to Dynamics 365 or CRM Online. Here's how:

Step Description Details
1 Search for a company or contact Follow the steps in Getting to the Discovery Center and search for a company or contact that is not added to your Dynamics 365 or CRM database.

2 Add the company to CRM To add the company to your CRM, click + Add to CRM as illustrated:

To add the contact to the CRM, click the  Add as Contact link to create a new Contact or click  Add as Lead link to add the contact as a Lead:

The company or contact is added in Dynamics 365 and View Account or View Contact appears.

Note: You can also add a company or contact by clicking the Add to CRM or Add as Contact button in the search results and the Company or Contact Preview pane. Read the Add a Company or Contact to CRM from Preview Pane for more information.
